  • We want to inform you of an upcoming change regarding our class prices starting in 2024. After careful consideration, we have decided to adjust our pricing to reflect the changing economic landscape.

    Reasons for the Price Increase:

    • Standard Inflation: Like many businesses, we are facing the impact of standard inflation which has affected the overall cost of living and conducting business.

    • Increased Costs of Goods and Utilities: The costs of goods and utilities have risen significantly. Specifically, the raw materials used in our beloved glazes have experienced substantial price hikes with some glazes now costing us hundreds of dollars per bucket.

    • Fair Compensation for Instructors and Staff: We are committed to providing the highest quality classes. To achieve this, we believe in offering fair compensation to our dedicated instructors and staff. This ensures that we can attract and retain the best and most knowledgeable individuals in the field of ceramics education.

We understand that any adjustment in pricing may raise questions, and we want to assure you that this decision was not made lightly. Our goal is to continue delivering exceptional learning experiences while also ensuring the sustainability of our operations.

We deeply appreciate your support and patronage and we want to thank you for your understanding as we navigate these changes. Your continued commitment to Green & Bisque Clayhouse allows us to maintain our standards of excellence and offer you the best possible learning environment.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us. We are here to address any inquiries you may have.

Thank you for being a valued part of The Clayhouse community.

  • Due to high demand, kindly cancel one week before the start of class to receive a full refund. Cancellations in under one week of the start of class will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations in under 5 days will not receive a refund at all. There are no refunds once the class has begun. Unfortunately, we can not transfer credit to a later semester.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    1. I will be out of town for one of the classes. Are there make-up classes or can I participate in another class on another day?

No, we do not offer make up classes nor are students able to attend another class. Students are given 40+ hours of open studio access every week which leaves plenty of opportunity for students to practice outside of class. We recommend letting your instructor know before you leave town and they would be happy to fill you in on what you might be missing.

    2. I’m trying to get into a class but everything is always sold out. Any tips? Help!

We are so sorry if you have not been able to get into a class with us. Our classes do sell out, some classes well out within literal seconds! We recommend setting an alarm/reminder on your phone or marking your calendars in order to sign up as soon as registration opens. Fill out our waitlist form to be automatically added to our mailing list.

    3. What are the studio access hours for students?

      Monday - Friday,
      (week 1-6 only): 10am - 9pm
      (grace period: week 7 & 8) 10am - 6pm

      Saturday, 10am - 5pm

      Sunday, CLOSED

    4. I have a gift card - can I use it for a 6 week class?

Yes, of course! However, please go ahead and sign up using your credit card to secure your spot - especially if you are registering on opening day. It gets crazy and we don’t want you to lose your spot in the class. Once you are enrolled, shoot us an email or call us - we will refund the amount back to your credit card and process another transaction using your gift card. Sorry for the trouble but it’s the only way we are able to honor gift cards towards classes!

    5. I tried to register for my friend but now the class is full!

The best way to ensure that you and your friend can get into a class at the same time is to enroll at the same time from your own devices as soon as registration opens. Otherwise, someone else might snatch up the spot!

*To enroll in a class, please continue scrolling down. Thanks!
